Chris Veltri owns and has run Groove Merchant records in San Francisco for the past 30 years. The focus of the shop since its inception has been to promote discovery in the form of original vintage vinyl and ephemera in all genres. This often includes the obscure, under celebrated, and the many facets of the American private press. In addition to the shop, Chris also runs Collage Dropout SF, a dispensary for found photography, counter culture curiosities, Outsider art etc. Chris produces 1-2 small run art books annually in tandem with collaborating press outfits.
