This show is based on the original tenets of sound systems with a pirate radio type-feel. I was born and raised in the UK and grew up around sound system culture, as well as listening to Kiss FM and other Pirate Radio stations of the ’80s and ’90s. I am a practicing Buddhist– this is why I call the show Siddhartha, named after the Buddha.
