This month on Let’s Be Friends, I’m joined by Walter, a DJ whose sound sits at the intersection of groove, tension, and release. 

His approach to vinyl feels grounded and intentional, pulling from the deeper edges of house and techno while staying locked into the rhythm of the dancefloor. I’m excited to spend some time talking about the connection between cities, sound, and the spaces that shape how we move together.

Walter channels the raw pulse of house, techno and machine funk, weaving soulful analog textures and jacking rhythms into tightly crafted vinyl sets. Raised in NYC, he fell in love with electronic music in the warehouses of LA, and now splits his time between both cities.
