Join us for a series of live performances set among the Getty Center’s Central Garden, featuring poetic and musical collaborative soundscapes inspired by The Scores Project: Experimental Notation in Music, Art, Poetry and Dance 1950-1975 .

Informed by mid-century experimental artists like Yvonne Rainer, John Cage, and Benjamin Patterson in the Getty Research Institute’s archives, poetry and music will float through the landscape, encouraging guests to create their own experiences: rest on a bench, lay on a blanket on the lawn, admire the view, or wander the pathways among the blooming spring plants as experimental performance vibrates through the air!
