Mean Mr. Mustard is a Los Angeles-based DJ specializing exclusively in 45rpm vinyl records. His sets feature a diverse range of genres, including rare and classic R&B, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Surf, Reggae, Halloween, Latin, and instrumental tracks. He has held notable residencies at The Hive Gallery, The Cinefamily, and at the legendary Funky Sole every Saturday night for a decade (2012-2022). Over a 20-year career, he has performed at numerous night clubs, bars, art exhibitions, radio stations, festivals, and iconic Los Angeles locations such as The Belasco Theatre, Grand Star Jazz Club, Hollywood Roosevelt, Long Beach Funk Fest, Ace Hotel, and The Troubadour. In 2023, he started the Soul Fire Funk Club, a monthly dance event preserving the electric atmosphere of the renowned funkyard patio at The Echo.
