Spiñorita is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer with a 15-year career that’s made her a staple in both local and international music scenes. A Chicana born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, her eclectic sound — blending House, Funk, Disco, and soulful grooves — draws from her upbringing at backyard parties, where her love for music first took shape. Over the years, she’s played major festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Movement Detroit, and Future Sounds of Jazz, while sharing stages with artists like DJ Minx, Gerd Janson, Vegyn, and touring with La Roux. Her global reach includes sets at ADE in Amsterdam, London, and Japan and a broadcasted set on Boiler Room. Spiñorita’s passion for community runs deep — she founded Backyard Party Records, blending Oldies Lowrider music with Drum n Bass, and is a dedicated leader in criminal justice art rehabilitation, teaching DJing to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth and adults across California.

Spiñorita’s ten-year radio show Casual Play on NTS has been a cornerstone of her career, with additional sets featured on DirtyBird Radio, dublab, Kiosk Radio, VANS Channel 66, and more. Her work has been spotlighted in Forbes, Vogue US, and HYPEBEAST, and she continues to inspire as an educator, teaching DJ workshops through the Long Beach Art Council and the non-profit called Give a Beat where she teaches DJing at prisons in LA County.
