I made a mix that nods to acid and bleepiness of my recent EP, Someone Else Is Calling. It uses two Roland machines quite a bit (the 303 and the 101 both) – both great bleepy machines. Funny enough, I actually start out the set with an artist called Bleep, and move into lots of great synthy producers. Another highlight is a remix from Quinn Whalley, who produced my EP with me, under his moniker Johnny Aux. It’s definitely more about the selection, as some things, like the Andras song in particular, I personally really wanted to hear (sorry to be self-indulgent), and the mix moves from tracks that float to tracks that chug and bump. Kind of like my latest EP!!
