London-based “Loud Ambient” duo Floating World Pictures presents the first of a pair of mixes on Dublab exploring their disparate reference points and use of found sounds. Mix 1, by Chestnutt, is a driving journey safely cocooned with mainly 90’s ambient hypnotic landscapes with time shifting memories passing by, linked by a few decades going down a motorway at night. FWP is Chestnutt (Snapped Ankles) & graphic/sound artist Raimund Wong; they are joined by Alabaster DePlume, Danalogue (The Comet is Coming), members of Flamingods and others on their debut album released this summer on Friendly Recordings.
