DJ STEPDAD is an ambient and house project from New York City-based music lover Ted Davis. While probably best known for his electronic and experimental music coverage at places like Bandcamp Daily, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Resident Advisor, NPR Music, and elsewhere, he has produced and spun ethereal music since 2018. His first dublab mix is inspired by the years he spent living in Los Angeles, aimlessly driving around landscapes that seemed to shift between barrenness and resplendence at random.
