CHINGA LA MIGRA: Archivo13 w/ Somos Familia Valle

02.23.26

Gabriel Vidal aka Archivo13 was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley with family roots from El Salvador. Counterculture, community organizing and his parent’s refugee experience has shaped his identity and approach to music. As a DJ and record collector, Gabriel finds importance in preserving and uplifting music that is less often heard and the use of music as critical information. Gabriel has range when it comes to music and collecting records, from funk to latin to electronic genres and holds a special interest in leftist protest records and music from Central America. He is a co-founding member of a Salvadoran music memory project called Radio Pulgarcito and founder of C.A.S.A., (a developing) Central American Sound Archive.

Somos Familia Valle is a local LGBTQ+ community organization dedicated to support, empower, and mobilize families, and allies for racial, gender, and economic justice in the San Fernando Valley.
